Frontend developer since four years now, I love to constantly learn new internet languages, create designs for the web, it gives me a feeling of fulfilment. I found out my love for coding in HTML, CSS, and a little bit in Javascript when I started being active on plateforms like Forumactif where it implies to know about code to make design modifications through stylesheets and templates. This made me curious about the world of code and webdesign, so I wanted to improve my skills. My chance was given in a training about frontend development by Interface3 where I could gain solid basis in the area. I love team work because it allows to pop up with better ideas, to share a lot of motivation, but I also like to work in an automnous way so I can concentrate and achieve work in process. After 3 years without coding that much, I lost the expertise of pure code. To catch up, I am currently looking for training to improve my knowledge and learn new web languages, with the aim of finding a fulfilling position as a Fullstack Developer.

I was born on 30th April 1991. I also love to write, read, go to the cinema, play video games, singing karaoke, try to learn to play guitare, eat, and most of all, chocolate ! =D

Experiences

From the beginning of February 2020 to April 2023, I've worked with the info-communication team of COLEACP (now COLEAD). I have collaborated with backend developers, to manage, improve and develop websites with Wordpress (around thirty). It was a great opportunity that allowed me to make my front skills grow. I was also in charge of some project management. I mainly integrated textual and visual content on the sites.

For two months I've been helping the deployment of the new Bruxelles Formation's website, created with Wordpress. I have integrated content and reviewed the website in order to verify if there was some bugs.

During 8 months I've been part of a dynamic communication team. I have maintained the Eurelectric website, created digital and non digital publications, in the respect of the brand of the association. I have also created a website for the main event of Eurelectric, the Power Summit 2019 that was taking place in Italy. I have contributed to create visuals for events (posters, banners, email signatures...), layed the reports out. I had the chance to collaborate with external designers and also with printers.

Two enriching months of traineeship in a the young and dynamic team of this startup. I've contributed to the development of a website for a mutuality. Element by element, I have provided to the backend programmer the base to work on. To be able to do that I have learned how to use Webpack, Npm, Yarn and Pug. My principal tools where Atom and Git on Linux.

As part of my training we had the opportunity to participate to a Hackaton. We had two days of work, with a team composed by around 8 people with different skills and backgrounds. We were reunited around an idea of a mobile application project ("Happy Family" proposed by Marie-Charlotte Tatepo) and we had few hours to work on a prototype version of it to show to the jury. Step by step we went through the marketing and technical parts of the project. We had a lot of brainstorming and attempts to make everyone agree. After two days of stressfull but enriching team work, we where the lucky winners of this Hackaton.

Collaborating with the production and distribution of ebooks manager, I have monitored the production of ebooks, made some quality checkups with internal tools and on ebook readers. I have also monitored the ebooks distribution and most of the time, I've written and optimised commercial and technical metadata for the ebooks. Sometimes I have also written little articles for their online journal called "Lettres Numériques".

In the hub regrouping magasines about psychology, wellness, gardening and cooking, I have participated to the creation of the magasines, from the choice of the content to the layout. I have work in team with writers, designers, journalists and authors.

I have reviewed, proofread, designed books and even handmade book for this little publishing house. I have also designed five posters with InDesign in order to illustrate the exposition about Luc Bérimont during the universitary colloquium dedicated to him on 27 and 28 of March 2015. I have collaborated with many people to make it happen, it was a really enriching experience. Le Petit Véhicule had already welcomed me in 2014 to allow me to work on my Memoire about Luc Bérimont wich was published in this same publishing house.

While I was working on my Memoire about Luc Bérimont, I designed five posters with InDesign in order to illustrate the exposition during the universitary colloquium dedicated to him on 27 and 28 of March 2015. In order to achive this project, I have collaborated with France Chabod et Valérie Neveu.

Educational background

In order to add a web developer diploma to my experience, I signed up for a training course run by Via Formation and supported by the region. This will enable me to relearn the basics that I'd lost, particularly in Javascript, and bring me up to date with the world of the web.

This was a really important year for me where I redirected my professionnal ambitions from book publishing to webdevelopment. I have learned a lot, technically and humanely, thanks to passionate and attentive trainers.

The program of this year was focused on HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Jquery, MySQL, PHP, CMS (Wordpress, Drupal), Adobe Suite and also internet legislation.

An exceptionnaly enriching year of professional discovering about book publishing. We got to learn or improve our Adobe suite use, to understand the functionning of the book publishing world, the author work and it's exchanges with the editor, the make of the paper books, from the design to the concrete creation, the marketing, the sales... We had a global vision of this professional sector.

It was a buffer year between my degree and the master in publishing. But still I learned very intersting content about modern litterature.

Three years of studying litterature, origins of French language, English litterature and translation between French and English. I have also been one of the foundor of a student litterary association called A.L.E.A (Association Littéraire des Etudiants Angevins), as the tresurer the first year and as a simple member after this. It was a way for us to promote litterature amongst others students and forge bonds between them.

A year of hardwork, stressfull and intense but at the end enriching where you outdo yourself and learn your limits. It is year where I learned how to be organised and serious in my work.

From the first year to the the third, I have choose the litterary path and with that I had the chance to study the History of the cinema, attend to cinema festival, learn how to write a scenario, film, record sound, edit a movie et many other things.
